Norman R. Augustine is a globally-recognized leader in business management and engineering. He was previously Undersecretary of the Army, as well as CEO and Chairman of Lockheed Martin. Augustine has also chaired respected organizations including the American Red Cross, Council of the National Academy of Engineering, Association of the United States Army, Aerospace Industries Association, and Defense Science Board. He has served on the boards of ConocoPhillips, Black & Decker, Proctor & Gamble, Princeton, MIT, the University System of Maryland, Johns Hopkins, and Colonial Williamsburg. Augustine was awarded the National Medal of Technology, the Joint Chiefs of Staff Distinguished Public Service Award, and five Distinguished Service Awards from the Department of Defense - their highest civilian honor.
Miles O’Brien is a critically-acclaimed journalist and respected authority on science, technology, and innovation. As the science correspondent for PBS, he writes, directs, and produces for both NOVA and FRONTLINE. His production company, Miles O’Brien Productions LLC, has created films for X-Prize, Astrogenetix, Dassault Aviation, and many other prominent corporations. O’Brien was previously an anchor and correspondent for CNN, notably serving as the anchor for American Morning. After covering the loss of space shuttle Columbia in 2003, he spent a decade serving on the NASA Advisory Council. Following the loss of his arm on assignment in 2014, O’Brien completed two marathons, several ultra-distance cycling races, a half Ironman, and returned to flying airplanes. His awards include six Emmys, a Peabody, and a DuPont.
Lance Robertson is an Army veteran and the nation’s foremost gerontologist. He served as the HHS Assistant Secretary of Aging and administrator of the Administration for Community Living (ACL). ACL has a budget of $2 billion and empowers 140 million Americans to age in place each year. Before leading ACL, Robertson was director of Aging Services at the Oklahoma Department of Health Services, co-founder of Oklahoma State University’s Gerontology Institute, president of the National Association of States United for Aging and Disabilities, and a member of the Catastrophic Health Emergency Planning Task Force.
